Pakistan is facing drought like conditions in Lower Sindh districts of Thatta, Sujawal, Tando Muhammed Khan & Badin. AHD plan to help these farmers with water conservation models establishment for 500 farmers, objective is to help these farmers to conserve irrigation water and cultivate crops and vegetables to restore food security at their household level.
Far flung areas of Jati, District Sujawal, where rural farmers facing water scarcity & become very poor due to the issues of water shortage, about 500 farmers not cultivation crops since last 05 years & they become poor and vulnerable and increase in poverty. this project will help 500 farmers in quick time to construct village level small ponds/tanks for small scale crops and vegetable cultivation to secure food for their families
20 water conservation ponds or tanks will be constructed to store irrigation water as well as rain water storage during every moon soon season. 20 ponds / tanks will enable 500 farmers to grow vegetable for their household level and can sale in market to earn income for themselves
500 farmers will have access to irrigation water to plan small scale crops and vegetable at their household level. AHD in this regard took responsibility to make aware these farmers
