Our mission is not just to give communities access to water but is to achieve lasting change by improving their hygiene and sanitation practices, training them in water pump operation and encouraging them to exploit their economic opportunities, so that they reach a point of self-reliance and no longer need the support of us or anyone else.

Fill the gap in funding an Elephant Pump in Katsika Village in the Mchinji Region of Malawi; we need your help to fully fund this project! This project will provide an Elephant Pump to a village of 114 people, including 69 children. This project will provide up to a 100 people in rural Malawi with clean and safe water. This project will set up a Water Point Committee in the rural community. The Water Point Committee will be trained by Pump Aid in pump maintenance and repairs, ensuring that the community will have access to clean and safe water for many years.
