For many young Pakistanis, navigating public discourse has become increasingly complex, reinforcing the urgent need for safe, informed, and constructive spaces for dialogue.

The Youth as Change Makers: Promoting Peace in Pakistan project remains dedicated to strengthening the role of young people as ambassadors of tolerance, civic responsibility, and democratic engagement. In recent months, our efforts have focused on strategic digital engagement, including targeted outreach during the PILDAT x GlobalGiving Awareness Week. Through evidence-based content, interactive posts, and short visual explainers, we highlighted the importance of critical thinking, respectful debate, and peaceful civic participation in addressing polarization. These initiatives have helped sustain a growing network of youth participants who continue to engage with themes of inclusion, constitutionalism, and social cohesion. By keeping conversations active in digital spaces, we have ensured that momentum toward youth-led peacebuilding is not lost, even as in-person programming remains dependent on resource availability.

Importantly, this phase has also allowed us to refine our approach for future on-ground engagement. Feedback from young participants indicates a strong demand for structured dialogue forums, campus-based discussions, and capacity-building workshops that equip youth with practical skills in mediation, advocacy, and community leadership. The Youth as Change Makers: Promoting Peace in Pakistan project continues to respond to this challenge by fostering youth-led conversations on tolerance, inclusion, and civic responsibility. Over the past few months, the team has remained active through digital outreach and awareness efforts, primarily through the PILDAT x GlobalGiving Awareness Week campaign.
