Dear Friends,
I hope you are enjoying the holidays in the United States and the festival season in India. Here are some of the interesting events that have taken place in our Child Care Center.
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on 8th Nov’22 with OM Santi BrahmatmaKumari in our ccc. Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of love between sisters and brothers, where a sister ties a sacred thread (Rakhi) to the brother.
Our children celebrated Independence Day at SANTI Child Care Centre, with a theme of Azadika Amrit Mahotsav 75 Years.
Shree Ganesh Puja is a Hindu festival which commemorates the birth of the Hindu god Ganesh and the Santi children celebrated and offered prayers to the lord Ganesh.
A birthday program for Shree Sharada Prasad Nayak, MLA Rourkela, and District Planning Board, Chairman was celebrated in our CCC. Madhuri Lugun, Chairperson, Vice Chairman Md. Irfan, and more than 50 well-wishers were present in the celebration.
Diwali was celebrated among our children. M/s. Bapi Samal, a friend of Santi, provided one 36-inch LED TV to the Centre in this occasion.
Children's festival was celebrated in presence of members from the Indian Institute for Production Management, IIPM Kansbahal, in our SANTI Training building.

The Child Care Centre’s students visited the famous Shiva temple in Ghoghar. A multi day yoga session was conducted for the children and they are now practicing a bit of Yoga daily. The children were made to participate in the road safety training program which is conducted regularly in our center. Parija our safety manager in Prabhu Sponj factory gave good guidance about road safety. The children also had a picnic and they visited the Manderia Dam and really had a fun time. Birthday celebrations of Rani, Arman, Jharana and Kartik were done with cake cutting and dinner. Raja Mahotsav Celebration and Bana Mahotsav were celebrated in our campus. Tree plantation was done with the support of Dr. Sarojini and Samaj newspaper journalist Ashish.
The new year day was spent celebrating and in prayers to almighty. We celebrated Jhubli's birthday by cutting cake and by having a grand dinner party. Holi, the festival of colors was celebrated with much fanfare and children enjoyed a lot. In the program organized for the 'International Women Day' our SANTI children participated and participated in the dance competition. The honorable chief guest appreciated our children and lauded the progress that SANTI has achieved in the past few years. The children have shifted in our training building from 15 March 2022. We are going to construct more rooms in the SANTI building for children.
The below festivals were celebrated in our center. The kids and the adults had a lot of fun. Please do see the images attached to this report as a picture is worth a thousand words:

Our children Seema and Sobhati had their birthdays celebrated and everybody participated.
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on October 2nd 2021.

Diwali festival celebration happened for many days. The children burst crackers.
Children day was celebrated on November 14th 2021.
