Hundreds of people in the Philippines are now homeless and more than 75 dead because of Tropical Storm Megi/Agaton. Battering the country only a short period after the Superstorm Rai/Odette, local officials are doing their best to meet the needs of those impacted by this disaster while attending to the ongoing concerns of survivors of the 2021 storm.
All donations to this fund will support recovery and relief efforts for Tropical Storm Megi (locally known as Agaton). Initially, funds will help first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter. The fund will later transition to support longer-term recovery efforts run primarily by local, vetted organizations in the communities affected. This is vital as intensive rains and landslides have caused greater damage in the storm's aftermath.
