We continue teaching children about volunteering.
This fall, we conducted training sessions for children on tactical medicine and basic first aid.

Every day, hundreds of Ukrainians are in danger due to constant missile strikes. Many lives are lost to injuries and blood loss, while others die from sudden cardiac arrest caused by ongoing stress and tension. These lives can be saved if resuscitation is performed promptly. Knowing how to provide assistance is a critical skill for any volunteer.

The training was led by a tactical medicine specialist who taught the children how to apply a tourniquet in case of an injury. A certified volunteer doctor instructed the children on how to perform first aid for sudden cardiac arrest. They practiced chest compressions and artificial respiration on a mannequin. Each event concluded with a group dinner and small gifts for the participants.

Teaching children about volunteering fosters empathy, responsibility, and civic awareness, helping them understand how they can make a positive impact on society. It’s also vital for volunteers to know how to provide basic first aid, as it is a crucial skill for saving lives in emergency situations.

Volunteering training programs shape a responsible generation actively involved in community life and spreading a culture of support. First aid skills empower individuals to save lives in critical moments, making society safer. Participants also develop leadership qualities and strengthen social bonds, positively influencing their future.

Help us continue this vital work by donating to our project today!
Your support will allow us to organize more training sessions, equip children with essential knowledge, and create a safer and more compassionate society. Together, we can make a real difference.
