Ukraine is now in its fourth year of full-scale war.
Children growing up in Kharkiv live in a reality shaped by daily air raid sirens, explosions, and bomb shelters. Ongoing shelling, destroyed infrastructure, disrupted education, limited peer interaction, and constant psychological stress — this is the environment in which a new generation is being raised.
We believe that in such extreme conditions, children need more than just physical safety. They need knowledge, connection with peers, and emotional support.
This spring, we continued our first aid training workshops for children. Our volunteers teach how to respond in emergencies — injuries, unconsciousness, fires, or poisoning. The children practice life-saving techniques using medical mannequins — these skills can truly save lives.
We also conduct drone operation workshops. Learning to use a drone helps with search and rescue missions, clearing debris from destroyed buildings, and locating missing persons. What begins as hands-on training today may inspire some children to become future rescuers.
In the village of Shevchenkove, Kharkiv region, we held mine safety sessions. Ukraine is one of the most heavily mined countries in Europe, and recognizing explosive hazards is now a basic survival skill.
In our bomb shelter learning space, we host weekly sessions for children with visual impairments. This is a safe place where they not only learn, but also find calm, confidence, and trust.
We are shaping a generation that is growing up strong, informed, and ready to take care of themselves and others — even in the midst of war.
We cannot stop the missiles.
But we can help children keep living.
Support our foundation — your donation becomes knowledge, protection, and hope where it’s needed most.
Together, we are saving childhood.
