Fordham University Students in our Home

In August, in Mensajeros de la Paz Argentina we received the MBA students of Gabelli School of Business from Fordham University of New York.
They carried out a volunteer experience that was divided into two projects: On one side, they did different consultancies related to administration, finance and marketing topics to our NGO. These consultancies allowed us to think and analyze our work processes and possible improvements in each area.
On the other side, they did a group volunteer activity where they painted our temporary home. They made very beautiful drawings on the walls and the Home completely changed its appearance and its energy! Now it is a house with many more colors and joy thanks to them.
Our group volunteering sessions aim to work with different institutions in order to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable sectors of the community. Mainly encouraging universities and other institutions to develop new initiatives of Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Investments, and to making aware participants about social causes and give them the opportunity to help in the long term project.
It was a pleasure to work in an alliance with Fordham University and hopefully, we would like to have more initiatives like this.

Our 2018 Annual Report

We are proud to share with you the 2018 Annual Report of Mensajeros de la Paz, which reflects the work done over the past year, promoting the social integration of children, adolescents, and elderly people in an extreme social vulnerability condition in Argentina.
Reading this Report you will know more about our Programs and Projects, and their impact on the prevention of exclusion situations, the improvement of educational and artistic spaces, and our every day direct assistance in our Day Centers and Homes.
Also, I would like to thank you for the support that we have received from each donor that trusts us. Our Organization is fully committed to the social integration of those who need it the most, and this would not be possible without the help of so many people, institutions, companies and the community.
Mensajeros de la Paz will be there, where there is a right to promote or restore.
Thank you for being part of our mission, only together will we be able to build a more inclusive Argentina.

We had a lot of fun at summer break!

During January and February in Argentina we have enjoyed two things: Summer and school holidays! This time of the year has arrived and with the sun and the heat, the girls multiplied thir desire of playing and having fun. From Mensajeros de la Paz we daily work to promote the children's right to play and to recreate: It is important for children to give a break to school stress, homework and schedules. In addition, recreation is a way of socialization that allows girls to make new friends, rest from school, develop new skills and do different and fun things.
So now... What have they been up to this summer? We will tell you!
The girls attended a holiday camp and had a great time! They did many sports like swimming, volleyball, handball, soccer and also took dance classes. A special activity they enjoyed was a yoga class given by Dafne Schilling, a highly-recognized yoga teacher in Argentina who gave them wonderful class. Yoga is a recommended activity for childhood on their search for balance and harmony, because it is good basis for the future of young people to enjoy a cheerful and healthy adult life.
Despite the difficult circumstances of life and thanks to the work of all our team and the donor network that you are part of, we can give the girls the summer break they deserve. Thanks a lot!
