For displaced families in northern Syria, the cost of surgery can be far beyond what they can afford. Many are already struggling to meet their basic daily needs, and an injury can leave them facing pain, disability, and an uncertain future.
A young man in his thirties arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria suffering from severe pain in his right leg. Medical examinations revealed an old fracture in his thigh that had never healed properly and required urgent surgical treatment.
Thanks to your generous contributions, our medical team was able to prepare him for surgery and provide the care he urgently needed. The operation was completed successfully, and he is now recovering and preparing to return home.
Your support did more than fund a surgical procedure. It relieved his pain, restored his hope, and gave him a real chance to regain his mobility and rebuild his life.
Thank you for standing with patients who have nowhere else to turn. Because of you, healing is possible even in the most difficult circumstances.
