Dear Supporter,
Because of your generosity, more premature newborn babies in northern Syria can now receive the specialized care they need without being transferred far from their families.
For years, newborn babies in the region have faced serious health risks because of limited medical services and a shortage of essential neonatal care. Premature babies were especially vulnerable, and transporting them to distant medical facilities often placed their fragile lives at even greater risk.
Today, we are proud to share an important milestone with you.
Thanks to your generous contributions, one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria can now provide specialized treatment for the majority of premature birth cases locally. This progress means faster medical intervention, safer treatment, and a better chance of survival for vulnerable newborns.
Baby Obaid is one of the children who benefited from this support.
He was born prematurely with a dangerously low birth weight. His condition was critical, and both he and his mother faced serious risks.
Because your donations helped strengthen and support the hospital’s neonatal services, our doctors were ready to respond immediately and provide Obaid with the specialized, life-saving care he urgently needed.
Your support made this progress—and Obaid’s care—possible.
You are not only helping one child at a time. You are strengthening medical services and creating lasting improvements that will protect many newborn babies in the years ahead.
Thank you for standing with SEMA and helping us bring essential neonatal care closer to the families who need it most.
Together, we are building a future where premature babies can receive life-saving treatment close to home—and where more families can hold their children safely in their arms.
With heartfelt gratitude,
