Dear Supporter,
We are deeply grateful for your generous contributions, which continue to make life-saving medical care possible for vulnerable patients in northern Syria.
Recently, a 75-year-old man arrived at the Surgical Emergency Department of one of SEMA’s hospitals suffering from severe abdominal pain and dangerously low blood pressure.
Doctors quickly discovered that he had a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm—a critical medical emergency with a mortality risk of more than 90%.
There was no time to lose.
Through an urgent operation led by Dr. Ali Al-Saeed, the medical team worked rapidly to control the bleeding, repair the rupture, and provide the intensive postoperative care the patient needed.
Thanks to your support, the necessary surgical team, medical supplies, operating room, and follow-up care were available when every minute mattered.
Two months later, the patient returned to the hospital in excellent health.
A man who arrived on the brink of death was able to return home, recover, and continue his life—all because compassionate supporters like you made timely care possible.
Thank you for standing with our patients and helping SEMA deliver urgent treatment when hope seems almost out of reach.
Your generosity does more than fund medical care. It gives patients another day, another chance, and another chapter of life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
