Dear Supporter,
In northern Syria, many families struggle to afford even their basic daily needs. When a medical emergency happens, the cost of urgent care can be far beyond what they can bear.
Because of your generous donations, SEMA has been able to help provide lifesaving medical care for vulnerable patients, including children, women, and the elderly.
Recently, an 80-year-old patient arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria in critical condition. He was suffering from severe respiratory failure and convulsions, with a complicated medical history following a previous stroke.
Doctors immediately transferred him to the intensive care unit, where examinations showed that he had a cranial hemorrhage. Without urgent care, his life was at serious risk.
Thanks to your support, SEMA’s medical team was able to begin treatment immediately and provide the intensive care he urgently needed.
After 48 hours, his condition began to stabilize — and he is now preparing to return home.
Dear supporter, your kindness helped give this elderly patient another chance at life.
Every donation makes a real difference for vulnerable patients in northern Syria who cannot afford urgent medical treatment on their own.
Thank you for standing with them in their most difficult moments.
With sincere gratitude,
