You Saved a Newborn's Heart-Let Hope Beat On!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

This is the story of Mrs. Faten's son—a tiny fighter who entered the world amidst unimaginable struggles. At just 13 days old, before even receiving a name, he was rushed to one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria. His frail body was battling cyanosis, and every breath he took was a fight for survival.

Time was critical. He was admitted to intensive care, underwent urgent tests, and it was revealed that he had a heart defect. While his condition was dire, his mother’s prayers were steadfast. Thanks to your incredible generosity and the skill of our medical team, his condition gradually improved. Today, by God's grace and your compassion, this brave little boy is stable. He no longer needs oxygen and is feeding—just 15 ml every two hours, but those sips are filled with hope.

Your donations made this miracle possible. You saved a tiny heart from stopping and gave a mother the joy of holding her son with hope for his future.

But the story doesn't end here. Many other newborns are waiting for a lifeline, waiting for someone like you to give them a chance at life.

You are the reason life continues to beat strong in northern Syria. Be the difference. Be life.

With heartfelt gratitude,
