Newborn Zahraa Fighting for Breath with your help!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

This message is directed straight to your hearts, which know no limits. We, along with hundreds of families in Northern Syria, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every drop of generosity you have given to save the lives of newborn babies. Because of your kindness, we have been able to give hope to many children who were on the brink of losing their lives, like little Zahraa.

Zahraa came to our hospital as an eight-day-old infant, carrying a severe congenital defect in her tiny heart. She arrived in a critical condition, struggling for every breath. Our doctors did not hesitate for a moment to do everything they could to save her. Thanks to God and your support, we were able to get her through the critical phase, and the doctors treated her respiratory distress in the intensive care unit. Now, Zahraa is preparing for a complex surgery that will give her a new lease on life, and she will remain under the doctors' supervision until the time of the surgery.

Zahraa's story is not unique; it is the story of hundreds of children in Northern Syria. They suffer from various illnesses, and their lives are at risk every moment. They lack the necessary medical care and cannot access essential medications.

Your donation, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for a suffering child. Imagine the smile of a child overcoming their ordeal thanks to your support, imagine the joy of a mother who gets her child back to life.

Jazakom Allah Khairen,
