Most of the places for play in Tohoku region were lost because of Tsunami or building a temporary house.
We provide mobile play and workshops by means of Play and Kitchen Car (named Sammy), which have not only various playthings but also natural materials such as woods and stones, for the residents of temporary house.
By changing the car park in the temporary residential area to the place for play, we make an opportunity of communication among children, parents, and residents of the area.
Although the weather was bad, children were looking forward to the arrival of the Play Truck, and immediately on the arrival of the truck, the workshops by the truck have started.
Children played what they like at the place they like.
They played greengrocers and customer at the cold place next to a washstand in front of toilet, not inside a warm room. There might be a site where they were able to relax.
In addition, the battle game without violence was started.
They developed a new technique, named Meromero Beam (the receiver is madly in love with the sender), during this game. This beam was used to gain over a man, not to defeat an enemy.
The time to play is always short, but they can play at their own pace.
Due to using same places for play, the residents are able to remember the faces of children.
Thus, the local relation among the residents of temporary house and neighboring area is also growing up.
