Hello Dear Supporters,
Spring season is here, and that also means kitten season. Your support has helped Romania Animal Rescue spay and neuter thousands of animals and prevent the suffering of millions. As I write this report, RAR has achieved over 54,000 spays and neuters of both cats and dogs. This monumental achievement is only possible with donations, and your continued support will enable our vets and techs to reach 60,000 this year. But we need YOUR support please.
The Center of Hope is now open near Bucharest, and has already done well over 200 spays and neuters since opening a month ago. We have purchased a spay shuttle that travels to villages to pick up animals and bring them to the Center for spay and neuter, and then returns them to their caregivers following recovery.
It is an honor to be able to share this testimonial that I received yesterday, following our recent spay campaigns in Buhusi and Comanesti, Bacau County.

I have just returned to the UK after spending 3 days with one of your teams
helping with a spayathon in Bacau County
I would just like to say thank you to the vets and technicians for the
experience, which is something I will never forget.
I was so impressed by their skill & dedication .
They all worked so hard during the three days I spent with them . I'm sure
people who donate to your cause would be interested to know that I have seen
,and can confirm ,that their donations are being put to good use , helping to
alleviate the chronic overpopulation of stray dogs in Romania.
The work your organisation does is absolutely vital if there is to be any
chance of successfully dealing with the problem . "
Our vets and techs work miracles under extremely demanding circumstances. We work every day at the two clinics (Family Vet, Craiova and Center of Hope, Ilfov County) as well as send out the mobile team to do spays and neuters in numerous locations. We are getting ready to start sending HOPE, the spaymobile, back to remote locations once again as the weather warms up. This video was done in May of 2016 and will show you how HOPE campaigns work. HOPE campaigns have now done over 1100 spays and neuters:
Thank you for reading our update! We are honored this month to welcome the Global Giving representative, Skye, who plans to visit our work on March 24.
I wish you all the best and a wonderful Spring. Let's make it wonderful for everyone, with the goal of no more homeless animals.
