The Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center has expanded its curricular efforts by offering an introductory session on social entrepreneurship and design thinking to sophomore students through the Student Affair Services (SAS) 2000 program. A total of 5 sections with 210 students successfully participated in the program.
SAS2000 gives the students opportunities to nurture their interests and passion while developing their interpersonal skills in order to relate effectively with others. It focuses on enhancing their personal traits, knowledge and skills and reflecting on how they can further use these skills. For LSEED's part, its module provides the students to understand Lasallian social entrepreneurship and the process of design thinking. It also involves a workshop which highlights the use and benefits of design thinking in creating social entrepreneurship.
Aside from SAS 2000, LSEED also offers curricular courses such as the NSTP-LSEED, Senior High School, basic certificate course, and core/elective courses in partnership with NSTP and Formation Office, the Integrated School, School of Lifelong Learning, and select colleges of DLSU.
