SGSNY Scholar Graduating from City Tech
SGSNY Scholar Graduating from City Tech

This spring, 18 SGSNY scholarship recipients completed their four-year degrees across 14 different fields of study. Thanks to their remarkable accomplishments, our 2024 Scholars have secured jobs or are set to pursue graduate studies in the fall.

We are excited to welcome this outstanding group of graduates into our expanding alumni network, which now includes over 500 members. SGSNY staff and program leadership had the pleasure of attending commencement ceremonies at both Lehman College and New York City College of Technology.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Chilmark Builders for their continued support, which helped SGSNY provide graduation gifts to our Scholars. We proudly maintain a 98% graduation rate, with 99% of our recipients being BIPOC. This year, we had 8 students graduate from Lehman College, 7 from City Tech, 2 from Queens College, and 1 from The College of Staten Island.
