Continuing with our campaing, this time over 150 children at Smart Kids Institute received their Hearing Screening test. It is important to do it to ensure they are listening well not affecting the language development and school performance.
Together with a team of volunteers, we participated in EXPO MAMA, to comunicate to the present valuable information on hearing care. During the fair, we also offered the conference "The care and development of hearing during pregnancy", by Lic. Analida Pitti Ceballos. We take this opportunity to also promote among people who visited us, the values we believe should prevail in Panamanian families!
In coordination with the Hope Foundation and the Children's Hospital, we coordinated a visit ear wash and sanitize 20 children that were referred on our visit to multigrade schools and Zanguengas Espavé Altos de La Chorrera. Now both children and their parents and teachers have the information needed to take better care of your hearing.
On a tour involving 20 volunteers Hearing is Living Foundation and Hope Foundation, we made hearing exams to more than 100 children from the indigenous Embera in Piriatí, Lake Bayano. We are now planning follow-up tests required to over 50 children that needed additional tests. Thanks to doctors, specialists and volunteers who make this work possible.
Congratulations to the directors of Panamerican School who were able to see the importance of hearing exams for their students and hosted this year's program offered by Health Hearing Hearing is Living Foundatio, we will continue our work to take the same exams to underprivileged children and indigenous communities. Thanks for making this possible.
Thanks to Dra.Yanrineth Quintero, voluntary Ashley Figueroa, Ms.. Inés Lomba (Campus Director), and our speech therapist Aixa Lambert all the time and work dedicated to children of school #SanPedroNolasco #Burunga. We have almost completed the cycle of otoscopy, ear washes and hearing screenings to ensure that our children have hearing health.
During the week of health Towerbank, we offered through our fonoaudióloga Lic. Aixa Lambert, an interesting Conference on "Hearing Care for you and your children." we provided further information material to the attendees and hearing health services that are available also at our Comprehensive Hearing Care Center located in Ciudad del Saber.
We perform hearing screenings for adults at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama. We also provide valuable information for the hearing care and prevention to avoid damage to it. Thank Insurance Arc invites us to participate in these health fairs.
FOV WORKING WITH LIONS CLUB
Work done in the Hospital Santo Tomas in the XVII Campaign for Detection of Hearing loss and Hearing Awareness and Problems Caused by Noise and its prevention program, sponsored activity Lions Club Panama.
Free hearing exams & free screening were made in las Cumbres to children and teachers of VALORATE Foundation in. 36 children between 2 and 4 years old and their teachers were examined.
