Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is excited to tell you that, together, we have officially surpassed our project goal of rescuing 10 million pounds of food! Your support has been key to this achievement by supporting staff, leading the charge on rescues, and helping develop our food rescue web-application to make food rescue efficient and enjoyable for Food Donors, Nonprofit Recipients, and Volunteers alike
To celebrate this accomplishment, we have created a new GlobalGiving project at www.globalgiving.org/projects/feed-people-not-landfills so we can continue the excellent work supported by our GlobalGiving community. If you have a recurring donation, fear not! We will transfer all recurring donations over to our new project page.
RLC's work is especially important this time of year, when families share meals together to celebrate the holidays. Be on the lookout for a new video highlighting the importance of food at the holidays with our Nonprofit Recipient partner, Polo Grounds Towers!
Please consider making a gift to RLC's new project page in honor of your loved ones this holiday season, which will directly impact your community by providing meals to the neighbors who may otherwise go without. After all, nothing spreads love quite like sharing a meal.
Wishing you a very Happy Holiday and a prosperous New Year! We can't wait to see what we can accomplish together in 2023!
