The floods of 2010 in Pakistan were one of the worst ever seen in county's history – and today after five there is life being rebuilt but it is a slow laborious process. However, certain things must continue i.e. the provision of basic nutrition, health and education.
Fatima Memorial Hospital established a school in the flood ravaged area of Dera Ghazi Khan in Habit Mastui, a small village in the district to do their bit by providing an education to the children who had been affected the most by the tragedy. This happened after the devastating floods of 2010 which ravaged the country.
it is imperative to rehabilitate the children in our care so as to ensure a bright future.

Six years have passed since the terrible floods which resulted in the countless lives lost, farmland destroyed, infrastrucutre ruined. Calamities have hit this nation that have been both man-made and natural in the past one decade from floods to earthquake to drought to bombings to children dying of hunger.
It has been a tough road for Pakistan but sometimes as we move on from calamity to the next we need to step back and look at the ones who suffered. To look and see that are they on the road to becoming active part of society.

"My name is Sohaib. I am studying in 4th class. In NUR foundation School in Habit Mastui the district of Dera Ghazi Khan. I would like to continue my studies with NUR Foundation School."
Pakistan is ranked 2nd in the world with most out-of-school children and Nigeria is on first rank. The statistics are alarming and everyone tries to do their bit to improve the situation.
In 1985 Fatima Memorial Hospital started a NUR Foundation School. Today 18,000 children have completed their primary education with NUR Foundation Schools and currently 1850 are completing their education and all students are provided free tuition, books, uniforms and stationary every year.
