It’s been more than a year since the last flash floods hit Pakistan. The damage it did to the villages was immense and even today, rebuilding process continues and since there are lack of facilities, it is very difficult for the villagers to vacate and move to another location.
The devastating flash floods destroyed various parts of Pakistan, where at least 200 lost their lives and leading more than 300 injured. These floods destroyed more than 8,000 houses spreading into almost 3,000 villages.
Since the villages lost access to most of the facilities, Fatima Memorial Hospital took the initiative by establishing a school in the flood ravaged area of Dera Ghazi Khan in Habit Mastui, a small village in the district to do their bit by providing an education to the children who had been affected the most by the tragedy.
Even today, we are continuously making efforts to rebuild the affected areas by providing education and necessities to the people. In order to continue our efforts, we are dependent on your generous support in helping us rebuild the nation that has gone through so many difficulties.
We once again request you to continue your support during this rebuilding process.
Thank you.
