Tragedies and incidents seem to have become the norm of today on a global level from floods, wars, bomb blasts, earth quakes, and typhoons, senseless killings of school children to airplanes crashing, disappearing or simply shot down:
The year 2014 was a tough one for Pakistan which shook the nation to the core but as all resilient nations we carry on.
Pakistan had to face one of the worst floods in the history of the nation in 2012, lives were lost and scattered but we are rebuilding day by day.
Fatima Memorial Hospital played its small role by adopting 400 families in Habit Mastui in the district of Dera Ghazi Khan out of which almost 200 children needed to study. Fatima Memorial Hospital set up a small school for these children.
Today, after three years, the children are continuing with their education and the oldest kids are now in class 5. The classes are working their way up with each year as the children progress into the next session. These children are the future of Pakistan and the success of this country will be in their hands. We are educating them to lead the Nation to the future.
To continue this we need your support for this cause to make better future of these children.

Disasters are the part of this world that are unplanned and unbeknown to everyone; destroying lives, livelihoods, buildings and whatever that may come in its way. They come in the form of typhoons, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions and floods. As a result of the devastations they bring basic infrastructure and the way of life is disrupted to such a degree that sometimes there is no going back.
in 2010, heavy floods struck Pakistan; the water took everything leaving behind a trail of destruction, death and tragedy. Countless died, lost homes and everything they had; the only thing that survived was the memories of what life once was.
Today, after four years life is being rebuilt slowly but steadily, basic necessities are being taken care of such as food, health services and education.
After preliminary damage assessment Fatima Memorial Hospital opened a school in Habit Mastui, District Dera Ghazi Khan in Southern Punjab to educate the children affected by the flood.

After that damage assessment Fatima Memorial Hospital opened a school in Habit Mastui, District Dera Ghazi Khan in Southern Punjab to educate the children affected by the flood.

The past few years have been full of natural and man-made disasters striking humanity across the globe. From Tsunamis, hurricanes, earth quakes, famine, floods, bomb blast and the tragedies of war.
Our attention tends to move from one calamity after the other, this result in the affected getting initial help but they are left to their own devices after a month or two; usually the ones suffering the most are the poorest of that area who are not able to recover and live normally due to financial constraints.
The floods of 2010 in Pakistan were one of the worst ever seen in county's history – and today after fours years there is life being rebuilt but it is a slow laborious process. However, certain things must continue i.e. the provision of basic nutrition, health and education.
After the preliminary damage assessment, Fatima Memorial Hospital set up a school in Habit Mastui, District Dera Ghazi Khan in Southern Punjab to educate the children of the flood affectees.
Still going strong after three years we hope to continue with our success and keep educating the children in the area. We believe that a solid education will be the means for these children to excel in the future.
This is the generation that will take our nation forward and we believe in investing in their lives and their futures
Today we ask for your support to help us expand and sustain the project – We ask for a long term commitment, a commitment to be with us when a child of five enters our school and finally graduates through your help.
