Enrichment is the most critical purpose of learning. The endeavor of the water project is geared towards creating a conducive and positive learning environment for students and staff. Every student requires a safe and a clean learning environment that allow them to be fully engaged with the teacher and with each other. They deserve an environment that is physically and emotionally secured to maximize every learning opportunity. Water drilling project at Nyamonge enhanced the aesthetic beauty of the physical environment and academics.

Even as we continue sourcing for funds for the water tower and water solarization, the availability of enough water has enabled us to realize a brain friendly environment. At the beginning of this project, we planted trees, fruits, vegetables and flowers that continually grew thereby, bringing a new overall look. The mushrooming of vegetables, fruits coming up to supplement on nutrition, has helped to enhance the school menus and provide healthful snacks in the Institution's Kiosk. This has also helped to cut down on expenditures for vegetables. Initially, we depended on Kisumu Water Sewerage Company (KIWASCO) for water which was too expensive for college use, let alone watering our trees and plants. This cost has significantly been cut down with funds being diverted towards the purchase of stationaries.

At the moment, we are experiencing extreme drought but we are privileged with our borehole which has continuously enabled watering of our vegetable gardens and plants. The trees planted at the onset of the project has grown bringing aesthetic beauty to our campus. Paths are getting defined, well-maintained and trimmed flowers with grass planted all over to cut down on dust and mud. The aesthetic beauty is gradually beginning to shape up, the comfort that is necessary for optimal learning is also setting in. Being next to a dusty-murram -road, much of the dust is getting absorbed in the trees, a little bit of cool environment can be felt and, in some way, we are able to address the temperature needs of our learners.

The presence of enough water has helped to address the needs of water and sanitation bringing some comfort to students. Students are able to keep the classrooms, residence halls, dining hall, and washroom clean. We no longer have to go far in search of water that now is readily available by a tap. With the reduction of the burden by 85% that luck of clean water brings, learning has simple become the core priority thereby improving students' performance to 90%. Besides, both our students and pupils and even the staff are highly motivated, the learning process has become so exciting.  The pass rate has increased to 86%, student retention and employment rate to 100%.  As a result of all these, we recently celebrated a graduation ceremony with the college and nursery pupils.  All thanks to adequate water, we look forward for water tower construction and solarization.  See the attached photos.
