Vigneshwar has stood meritorious throughout his academics and has scored 97.44% in his 10th-grade examination and after that, he approached Vidya Poshak for financial assistance for his college education. He has lost his father couple of years back and taking a shelter in his Uncle’s home with his mother. His uncle is not in a position to support him as he has got a loan to be repaid of around 5 lakhs and he has to meet his family basic needs too. He selected to Vidya Poshak and joined Pre University education in the science stream at Sri Marikamba PU College Sirsi. In the 2nd PUC final examination, he scored 93.1% with a 4960 rank in CET. Now he took admission in BVB College Hubli for his Engineering.
Divya approached VidyaPoshak for financial assistance for her college education. At that time her father was the sole bread earner in the family and was working as agricultural labour. She completed her B.Sc degree in M.M. Arts & Science College Sirsi scoring 89.11%. Then she continued her education at Karnataka University Dharwad and completed M.Sc scoring 75.27% .After completing her Post Graduation she was engage in research work under the guidance of Dr. K.B. Gudasi. She was awarded the doctorate in Chemistry (Ph.D) in the year 2018 by the Karnataka University Dharwad.
Aditya approached VidyaPoshak for financial assistance for his college education. At that time his father was the sole bread earner in the family and was working as as agricultural labour. He completed 2nd PUC examination from Chaitanya PU college Sirsi scoring 85.5%.Then he continued his education at Govt Degree college Sirsi and completed B.com degree scoring 66% . Since then he has passed all the required examinations and internship to be qualified as a Charted Account.
Pradeep’s father is a agricultural labour and mother is a home maker. The family having 11 guntas of land and growing areca nut. The family is residing in a small own house with 3 rooms, mud floor and grass roof. Pradeep is having a brother. The family income does not exceed 30,000/-. Vidya Poshak identified the potential of Pradeep and his family situation. Mr Pradeep was supported for PUC, B.com and CA course for 5 years. He is successfully completed CA and presently working in Vishnudaya & co charted accountants.
In 2011 Balappa applied for financial assistance for his Higher education. He had lost his father and mother was the only bred earner in the family of 6 Members. At the time the family income was Rs 25000 Per annum. Vidya Poshak supported Balappa’s Pu and Degree education. After completing his bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Education ( BA& B.Ed) he appeared for Jailers recruitment test in 2017-18 and stood first in Karnataka state Vidya Poshak is proud of his achievement by which his family which was below the poverty line and know has come out of its financial difficulties.
