We need your support for making this project come true.
Thanks to your support, 100 children will receive their first book and the school from Chicoana will be able to have their Reading Corner with new books and teachers will receive training to promote reading at school. These vulnerable children have little access to health services and education, and literacy materials. Fundación Leer will train five local teachers to promote literacy in children. In addition, 300 new books of children's literature to be distributed, bringing children to books and thereby encouraging them to read and stay in school.
"The school receives children from our town but also nearby municipalities. It is a school for children from 4 to 14 year. Most of these kids are lacking resources and are in need. I would really appreciate if we could work with Fundación Leer. There is a lot of work to do. My help along with your help is so important for this community”, said Olga Chauqui, Coordinator of the National Literacy and Basic Education for Young Adults, Ministry of Education, Chicoana, Salta.
Your donation is essential to ensure that children have access to books and discover the joy and value of reading.
We are pleased that today we begin to walk along with you the way to achieve a reading and literacy Argentina.
Thank you so much for joining our community “Leer”!
