Excitement Galore 2023 - 2024

By Marianella Paul | Director

Dear Donors,

We are thrilled to share the exciting news of the 2023-2024 Autismo en Voz Alta school year's successful start, made possible by your unwavering support

Thanks to your generosity, we have optimized our resources and expanded our reach, and a new generation of dedicated professionals has taken on leadership roles in our essential services.

We proudly report that we have expanded our training services for individuals and organizations, ensuring effective integration into mainstream education. Additionally, we have increased our diagnostic capabilities and are operating at total capacity - two turns - in our psychoeducational program, facilitating and developing children's independence and autonomy.

This year, we aim to serve 650 families directly and many more indirectly through our integration from autism training services. With the prevalence of autism on the rise – i.e., 1/36 – integration into educational settings has become a significant challenge, and your continued support is more critical than ever.

When professionals who educate children with autism build skills and strategies, they and their peers thrive. When a child with autism develops the skills to become more independent and autonomous, their family dynamics improve. In Venezuela, the cost of living has increased by approximately 30% in US$ for the first nine months of 2023, making financial support the decisive enrolling factor for those applying for or participating in our training programs or services.

You are a crucial player in ensuring access to education today and tomorrow. In the neurodiverse world, we all belong; if we integrate, we promote inclusion. Your continued trust and support are invaluable; we are very grateful.

Thank you for being so supportive in positively impacting the lives of those we serve.
