An Amazing School Year Thanks to You

By Marianella Paul | Director

Dear Donors,

We are thrilled to inform you about the successful conclusion of the Autismo en Voz Alta school year for 2022-2023. Thanks to your unwavering support, we have optimized resources, developed a new generation of leaders, generated impact, and expanded our reach.

Together, we have been able to provide access to educational services for those with autism, and we appreciate your continued trust and support.

We proudly report that we served 556 families this year, reaching 94% of our goal, and have completed our organizational transition. In September, our new generation of professionals at Autismo en Voz Alta will take on leadership roles in our essential services.

Our families and staff are currently enjoying a well-deserved summer break while our facilities undergo maintenance work to prepare for the upcoming new school year in September.

Moreover, we are excited to share that our online training program on autism has gained significant traction. Many teachers in our area have taken the courses, and one of the courses has become a mandatory part of the curriculum for students at a nursing school. School principals have reported increased awareness and improved intervention strategies and adaptations for all integrated students with autism.

As the need for effective integration continues to grow, with the CDC reporting an increase in autism prevalence to 1/36 children, we are committed to expanding the reach and impact of our training tool. We are launching a specialized integration program for regular schools, supporting the consolidation and escalation of integration tools into the organizational culture.

Our inspiration and motivation come from our children's smiles and our community's gratitude. Serving them is an honor, and we will continue to strive to make a positive impact. Thank you for your support!
