Dear donor,

The ÇYDD Mentorship Project continues to support young people in their personal and professional development by bringing university students together with volunteer mentors who can share their experience, knowledge and guidance.

The project's 14th term was successfully completed on June 19, 2026. Since the project began, approximately 6,000 mentor-mentee matches have been created, demonstrating the project's long-term reach and continued commitment to helping young people build stronger futures.

During its 14th year, the project reached 71 ÇYDD branches and 925 mentor-mentee matches. Mentors and mentees received more than 30 hours of introductory training and supervision during the term. These activities help participants make the most of the mentoring relationship and provide a structured environment for personal development, communication and professional growth.

The ÇYDD branches also played an important role throughout the term by organizing additional activities, training sessions and supervision meetings, strengthening the mentoring process at the local level.

An important focus of the 14th term was expanding opportunities for mentees through partnerships with the private sector.

Through the collaboration with Red Hat Academy, an educational package was provided free of charge to 253 students.

In cooperation with Michael Page, 40 +10 students participated in interview simulation sessions. These opportunities allow young people to gain practical experience and become better prepared for the recruitment process and their future careers.

Planning for the project's 15th term has already begun. ÇYDD has set a target of 1,100 mentor-mentee matches for the new term. At the same time, the project aims to expand corporate partnerships that can provide mentees with corporate mentoring and internship opportunities, while continuing to introduce the project to new ÇYDD branches.

During August, preparations included calls for new branches, announcements for mentor applications through digital channels, communication with existing mentors to encourage their continued participation, selection of a volunteer trainer team, and preparation of draft training schedules for mentors and mentees.

The next stage will include mentee applications, candidate interviews and training before the new mentoring relationships begin.

The closing activities of the 14th term were celebrated by ÇYDD branches across Türkiye, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of participants and volunteers. Branches including Ankara, Antalya, Aydn, Balkesir, Beyoglu, Bolu, Bursa, Çanakkale, Düzce, Eskisehir, Fethiye, Karsyaka, Krklareli, Kocaeli-Izmit, Manisa, Mugla, Sile, Urla, Usak, Üsküdar and Zeytinburnu organized closing activities.

With the support of GlobalGiving donors, the Mentorship Project can continue connecting students with experienced mentors while expanding access to professional training, corporate mentoring and internship opportunities. So thanks to all our supporters.

Kindly yours,
