NEW ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE MENTORSHIP PROJECT

CYDD Besiktas branch mentorship first meeting

Dear donor,

We would like to inform you about some of the activities planned for mentorship project participant students in 2026.

On April 15, 2026, in an interview conducted with Tijen Mergen, the former CYDD Board member responsible for the CYDD Mentorship Project, mentees, mentors, and branch project coordinators came together.

Meanwhile, as a result of the collaboration established with ATA Holding and TFI TAB Food, mentor training was provided to 19 volunteers, and 19 selected young individuals were included in the project as mentees.

In addition, through the cooperation carried out within the scope of the ÇYDD Mentorship Project, 261 young people applied to the training program offered by Red Hat Academy, and they were informed about how to use the platform. Thanks to this protocol, young participants will not only become IT specialists ready for the business world, but will also be able to use systems such as Linux, system administration, cloud technologies, DevOps, and software development within their respective academic fields.

Through this program, young members of ÇYDD will become individuals prepared for internationally recognized certifications; they will have access to hands-on practice in a real laboratory environment, benefit from discounted certification exams, increase their chances of finding employment after graduation, and learn the real tools used in the IT sector.
