Kill Malaria, Save Human Life !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

The residents of slums ofted face the problems from mosquitoes and unhygienic surroundings which lead to get them infected from malaria. Mosquito get favourable environment to be multiplied in the slums where heap of garbage and stagnated water are everywhere in the localities and the residents become victims of dangerous and fatal mosquite prone diseases as dengue, malaria, etc. Due to poverty, the residents of slums can't use any of the safety measures and not able to get proper treatment of dengue, malaria .

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation had successfully organized "Kill Malaria". Under "Kill Malaria", awareness campaigns and workshops were held in slums by the organization. The residents of the slums got benefitted from the workshops. Our activists informed them about the diseases spread by mosquitoes and the ways to prevent and cure them. At the end of the program, a cleanliness campaign was also held in which our activists, with the support of the localites, made the surroundings clean as they removed stagnated water so that mosquitoes could not multiply. The cleanliness campaign became a successful one by the contribution of the localites.

We also had an inspection of the effects of the programs organized earlier with the support of the donors. Our activists met with the beneficiary families of the programs and came to know the position of cleanliness of the localities. The impact of these programs was that the localitis became free of mosquitoes and we found that no one became victim of mosquitoes in these localities. All the localites appreciated the efforts of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and thanked to GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors. The programs benefitted more than 150 victims of mosquitoes till then.

Kill Malaria, Save Human Life

Dengue has become a worlwide disease now-a-days which is caused by mosquitoe's sting. Mosquitoes breed and multiply in slums and stagnant water and make the localites victims of several diseases among dengue is the one. Most of people are not aware of the disease and subsequently it becomes fatal. The patients mistake to consider it an ordinary fever due to the lack of information and the carelessness leads them to death.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a workshop to make people aware of dengue and other mosquitoe prone diseases. The workshop was held on 2nd October and the community attended the workshop with interest. Expert doctors explained the causes, symptoms and cure of mosquito prone diseases. A cleanliness campaign was also held in the workshop where our activists and localites made the surroundings clean, level the pots of stagnant water in order to keep them free of mosquitoes. A cleanliness rally was organized by students and women to make the workshop successful and to have a greater impact on the community.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, had a cleanliness campaign and workshop in Nuriyawas last time. Nuriyawas is one of the regions affected by mosquitoes and last years seven dengue patients were found in the region. The organization organized a cleanliness campaign on a large scale in the region and its impact can be seen this year. Only 2 dengue patients have been found in the region yet this year who are being cured in government hospital and now out of danger. The public representatives of Nuriyawas praised the efforts and heartly thanked to GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.

Protection from malaria with Mosquito Nets !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Severe diseases caused by mosquitoes as dengue, malaria are getting transformed into monsters. These diseases sperad out all around and make thousands of people their victims. According to a survey, one out of every five deaths in the world is due to mosquito caused diseases. Rural and slum areas are the most affected areas of these diseases because mosquitoes get multiplied very easily in the surroundings as these localities are favorable to increase their population.

In order to save the residents of mosquito affected areas, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of Global Giving, distributed mosquito nets. We selected 13 families from the distant regions in Pisangan and gave them moquito nets. All those families were happy to get the mosquito nets as they might be able to have sleep sound at night without being feared of mosquitoes. These families found themselves difficult to sleep as they were afraid of mosquitoes, but now they may have sound sleep using the mosquito nets.

Our activist organised an awareness program regarding malaria, in which they made localites aware of the ways to prevent and cure malaria, also they delivered message to keep the locality clean. The effect of the program was seen vey soon; the villagers filled the pits and made the drainage clean so that mosquitoes might not multiply. All the villagers thanked Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and Global Giving Foundation.
