Success Story: First Grow Ghana Open Day!
Grow Ghana held its first Open Day, a call for local ambassadors.
Despite the rains on the blessed Saturday morning, the event came off successfully as scheduled. It was inspiring to meet new people to be part of a good cause.
We had a good number of people interested in our work and projects. They got to meet the team, our students, and the way we work.
We welcome them to our office, and we recently got a ping pong table in our workspace for team motivation and a good kind of distraction. :)
The next step is to find them a good role in our organization.
As a grassroots NGO, we want to grow and make an impact in most schools in the rural communities of Ghana, and the role of volunteers in our organization is very important to us and well appreciated.
That is why we are happy about the arrival of Cara, a new full-time volunteer who joined the team last week and will stay with us for about three months.
Make a donation this July 20th to top up your donations with the help of GlobalGiving Bonus Day!
Help us reach our goal to empower young students for the digital future.
Thank you for your support.
Gifty, Benjamin, Jennifer, Godfred, Luzius,Jan and Cara
