HIV-AIDS: Killing in South Sudan

By William Logai Ochieng | Executive director

HIV-AIDs largest killer of children

Thanks for your recent generous gift to Prevent HIV-AIDS through Awareness in South Sudan.

At this reporting:
You provided 100 liter petrol for field outreach and paid for eight local HIV-AIDS HIV workshops. Also, we provided Awareness materials to 5 five families. The beneficiaries are eager to see this project is doing well.

In South Sudan, more than 800 women aged between 14 and 45 are infected with HIV every single week. This is outrageous, and frankly, unacceptable. We need to something about it.

Last week, on International Women's Day, in an open appeal to our supporters we called on them to do more for women everywhere. Why? Because it is widely accepted that investing in girls and females lifts everyone out of extreme poverty more quickly.

We will be sending you new report in the second quarter to let you know the result of your gift, and what we have achieved.

Once again, thank you for all you do for Hope Ofiriha.
