With the new Leadship of Rwanda Village Concept Project, the project" HIV/AIDS avoidance in 150 Village young people" plans to set a new plan of action for the coming days.We are glad to thank all our donors who supported our activities in past and hope to keep sustaining the project.
Rwanda Village Concept Project (RVCP) is a non-governmental, non-political, voluntary organization. It is linked to other Village Concept Projects worldwide through the International Students Association of Village Concept Projects. The overall goal of RVCP is to provide sustainable improvement in the health and living standards of underprivileged communities at Village level and to develop the skills and knowledge of participating students.
The project" HIV/AIDS avoidance in 150 Village young people" is intended to increase the knowledge of 150 village young people about HIV prevention, sexually transmitted infections (STI's); reproductive health and methods of family planning in HUYE District.
-The project will work with the RVCP HIV/AIDS Awareness, Reproductive Health and Family Planning Program to reach the youth in anti-HIV/AIDS clubs to promote debates on sensitive issues in a friendlier environment.
-We will also carry out HIV education sessions in primary schools and in non-schooling youth in Southern Province of Rwanda.
By working together,we aim to limit the spread of HIV/AIDS through education of the youth and raise their awareness about HIV/AIDS whilst fighting the stigma and discrimination that affect the people living with HIV and AIDS.
