Under support of Rwanda BioMedical Center,the Rwanda Village Concept Project-RVCP in collaboration with Medical Students' Association of Rwanda and the Faculty of Medicine have organized a training on HIV Awareness and Malaria.The Dean of faculty of Medicine has officially opened the event by providing condoms and Moskito-nets to the trainees,medical students of Rwanda.The training was carried out at Butare,University of Rwanda,School of Medicine ,in Southern Province of Rwanda.
This training will enable students as volunteers to feel motivated in keeping their Health initiatives in the Community of Rwanda.The volunteers will be able to train other young people in different ereas of Rwanda.Some of the trainees are the volunteers of the project"HIV/AIDS avoidance in 150 Village young people" that is intended to increase the knowledge of 150 village young people about HIV prevention, sexually transmitted infections (STI's); reproductive health and methods of family planning in HUYE District.
