Child , who had lost her parents due to AIDS, was brought to DESIRE Society Care Home by her aunt and uncle because of poverty and lack of affordability to care for the girl. At the time of admission, baby was 5 years and suffering from weakness and underweight due to lack of proper food and medication. Unfortunately she is HIV+, infected from mother to child transmission during her birth. She was also suffering from stomach ache and indigestion infections because of eaten clay at home due to lack of care.
She has improved health status with the help of timely nutrition like Poushtik+ Powder, Iron, Calcium and B-complex Syrup and high protein food. Gradually she developed mental health too when she started sharing emotional and happiness bondage with co-inmates at Care Home. Now she is happy and active in her daily life because of the care and selfishness efforts rendered by our team at DESIRE Society. Committed and constant support extended by DESIRE Society has helped baby girl to have an opportunity of living in a loving family along with other such children.
Today, She is 11 years old and studying 5th grade in a private school nearby our Care Home. She is showing good interests in her studies and says she wants to become a teacher in future. We pray to God that she gets a good and long life like a normal child filled with all happiness and joy.
We at DESIRE Society are committed to save baby and provide our best to realise her career with hope and dignity.
