Boy's early life was marked by immense hardship. Born to HIV Positive parents , he lost his father to AIDS and his mother to suicide.The six years old boy was brought to DESIRE Society Care Home by his uncle due to poverty and the inability to care for him.
Upon admission, boy was weak and underweight, suffering from a lack of proper nutrition and medication. He was also diagnosed as HIV positive, having contracted the virus from his mother during birth.
With the dedicated support of DESIRE Society, his health has significantly improved. He received timely medicines and nutrition, including Poustik+ powder, iron, calcium, B Complex syrup, and protein powder. The constant care and commitment of the DESIRE Society team have enabled him to lead a happier, healthier life.
Today, boy is 13 years old and studying in the 8th grade at a standard school. He is an enthusiastic student with a strong interest in his studies and dreams of becoming a police officer in the future. We hope and pray that boy enjoys a long, fulfilling life filled with happiness and joy.
DESIRE Society continues to provide food, shelter, education, and psychosocial support to him and other such children at Care Home level.
