By building direct relationships with schools and community centers, Raghda secured steady contracts that ensured reliable demand for her products. This approach allowed her to grow her business, produce in larger quantities, and maintain a consistent income.

Today, Raghda’s business supports her family, covering her mother’s medical expenses and their daily needs. Her journey reflects how access to skills and opportunity can transform lives—moving from financial struggle to stability and dignity.

Freedom Jasmine has been implementing a sewing and tailoring training program designed specifically for women who have become the primary breadwinners for their families. In the midst of hardship, these women are being given something powerful — the skills to create income and move toward financial independence.

Through hands-on training, participants learn essential sewing techniques, from operating sewing machines to cutting fabric and constructing garments. What begins as a practical skill quickly becomes a source of confidence and self-worth, as women realize their ability to produce, earn, and provide.

Many of the women who complete the program go on to start their own small businesses, creating and selling handmade clothing within their communities. This not only helps them support their families but also strengthens the local economy and creates a cycle of resilience and growth.
