Send 85 Children to School for 1 Year in Cameroon

Since the previous report Better Family Foundation has done many things amongst which was a sensitization meeting of parents on how to care for their children during this war time period. 

Since all the children we sponsored had relocated to safer areas where they can attend school undisturbed. Through this meeting, parents and  guidance were educated on how to care for their children and equally how to care for the children  by proxy. 

More than 80% of the parents and guidances attended the meeting and we were educated on positive ways of relating with their children or those lodging them. The intention was to  create an enabling learning environment for the school where ever they are taking refuge and attending school. In deed it was a very successful meeting. 

Better Family Foundation wishes to appreciate all those who have been supporting this project . We assure you of our determination to judiciously put your donations into effective use. 

After the last report, Better Family Foundation (BFF) Fundong has been doing all it takes to follow up the performances of children in all the schools where they have been relocated due to the present socio-political crisis prevailing in Cameroon. It should be noted that because of the crisis all the students under our sponorship were relocated to other safer areas  or schools in Cameroon.

In order to succeed some of the schools were visited and data collected. For some of the schools that were far off, the school authorities were contacted through phone calls and information gathered about the students' performances.

In sum, only two of our sponsored cases performed poorly in the first term examination results. BFF Management wishes to appreciate all those who are supporting the operation of this program area.
