The under privileged children can also smile

Better Family Foundation has in recent weeks been very busy on the field screening pupils and students to select or retain those who qualify to benefit from the child sponsor program meant for the under privileged children. in the same vein a monitoring team was on the field to monitor and evaluate the performances of children already benefitting from this scheme.
As an outcome of the field work 27 students and 15 pupils were either retained or selected into the the program. Each of the pupils received textbooks and fees while those of secondary schools received only their tuition worth 25000 francs cfa or $50. This made the selected under priviledged children to smile like any another child because they now have an opportunity to attend school as well.
Better Family Foundation is adding their voice to those of the beneficiary parents to thank all the donors who contributed financially to make the less priviledged smile in the domain of education.

Helping Underprivledged Children Go to School

In order to help the under privileged children equally have an
opportunity to go to school next academic year, Better Family
Foundation has resolved to assist 40 children instead of 35 to go to
school. These children have been selected from both primary and
secondary schools.
So far the staff of Better Family Foundation have been very busy on
the field selecting the deserving children and holding meetings with
their parents and guardians. Presently, we have budgeted for the
material to be bought and tuition to be paid for each student or
pupil.
We are lobbying for funds from internal and external institutions in
order to enable us meet our target for this academic year. We thank
all who have be contributing financially in order to help us assist
these under privileged children. We kindly appeal that you help us
spread this information to your friends and relatives. God bless you.

Send 35 children to school for 1 year in Cameroon

BFF has intended to sponsor 35 children is primary and secondary
schools for 2013/2014 academic year. This is to help mitigate the
illiteracy rate in Cameroon society and boost school attendance rate.
At the end of the last school term BFF authorities in collaboration with the
Shared World Visions which is one of the sponsors of this program invited all the students alongside their parents to an evaluation. During this evaluation meeting we discussed the difficulties encountered by the students. We also encouraged the parents and guardians to assist the children morally and equally help provide the children's basic school needs. Out of the 41 students of the program who sat for examinations in various classes only one had a failed average.
During this meeting, gifts from Shared World Visions like clothes and pens were distributed to all the children present. It was equally resolved that the parents or guardians should play an active role towards the improvement of the children's performance in the following term. BFF also pledged to do home visits, visit schools in order to be acqauinted with the students' difficulties and seek on the spot solutions. On the part of Shared World Visions a USA based NGO. the Coordinator promised to donate one million francs cfa ($2000) for admission of more students into the program during the next acadmic year.
In deed we are very delighted to our donors for the wonderful gesture
they made to help these poor children to be able to continue their
education. On be behalf of the children,their school administrators and
BFF we wish to appreciate you very immensely for your support. Keep
being part of it and a child will always smile somewhere.
