Both are illiterates and work as labourers. She has one male and one female child. During her second delivery she had many health problems and visited STEPS Urban Health Centre (STEPS UHC) regularly for the checkups.  From the beginning of 9th month she has not taken the diet properly due to afraid of the delivery and became weak. One day her mother-in-law observed bleeding and immediately approached STEPS UHC. She was examined and referred to Maternity hospital in Tirupati for delivery. After examining her the doctors have done the surgery and Prasanna gave birth to a female child.

Prasanna said “Now I know the importance of health care and awareness. Whenever there is health problem, I am approaching STEPS UHC for treatment and advice. I am attending all Health awareness camps organised by them. My children were immunised free cost without financial burden on us. We are living happily without health problems.”
