Dear friends

Wishing you a wonderful happy and healthy 2017.

This is the activity your generosity supports, providing health care to poor slum people in India. These interventions have a measurable impact on the healthcare available to people living in slums. Everything is being designed around the people’s health needs. There are many people suffering with different diseases without care they need. It only takes one donation to shift the course of a person’s health and your donation could be the one that changes everything.

 Prevention is better than cure

Most of the diseases are preventable, provided proper treatment, medicines and health awareness is extended to people.

Organized health camp for Mothers and Children in Agraharam slum. Health checkups conducted by gynecologist. Awareness created among mothers about the health care of their children, Immunization schedule and nutritious food. The children were administered Vitamin A drops.

Twenty five years old Venkataratnamma with her child, attended health camp and awareness camp. As Venkataratnamma attended Health camp first time, her impact was obvious.

“I was surprised by the health care in camp. Doctor P.Prameelamma and nurses cordially conducted checkups to me, to my child and distributed medicines. By attending child health awareness meeting, I have learned many things about health care, importance of nutritious food and immunization schedule for my child” she says.

Access to healthcare creates the opportunity for poor people to lead healthy lives and to build a promising future. Maximize the power of your donation by sharing this with your friends and family. Tell them about your donation, show them what a difference it has made and encourage them to join you in supporting our work.

The New Year is a time for reflection upon last year’s achievements and successes to plan more interventions in the year to come. We will share more reports of our successes and challenges in 2017.

Thank you for your continued generosity and support,

With gratitude,
