All our donors at the Global Giving,

Wishing you a very happy and prosperous NEW YEAR   2012.

Season’s greetings from STEPS

FUND DISBURSEMENT

20 Filariasis patients were selected after a thorough survey and detailed verification of their financial position. As the main aim of the program is to support the deserving patients and continuing their treatment, this aim was brought to reality on 26th December 2011. We are very happy that Dr. Puchalapalli. Subba Reddy from USA, one of the major donor for this program through Global Giving have associated with us during inauguration of the program. On behalf of the Filariasis patients and STEPS Organization I convey my thanks and gratitude to him for attending this program and to Global Giving for giving this opportunity. We hope and pray that this support would continue for the patients with your generous support.

These activities are possible because of your support. Thank you for your generosity and for ensuring that poor Filariasis patients have a chance for a healthy life and for adding happiness in their lives. We invite you to take a tour of our operational site and meet some Filariasis patients who have benefited with the help of your generosity.

CLINICAL SERVICES

4 Para medical staff was given orientation and training for treating the patients and to create awareness during home visits. They were provided with brochures to create awareness about the Limphatic Filariasis (LF). Each one will be allotted 5 LF patients and they will visit their houses once in week. They will record LF sufferers name and all particulars in Individual Recording Form. They will be provided with Individual Fallow-up Form for each patient to know the progress of LF patients once in a month since their first visit, so that further advice and consul can be conducted.
