Dear Partner,
It's a pleasure to share with you report of the impact of your investment in the lives of the girls we serve.
On Thursday 16th May 2024, our team visited 4 of our girls who were recently enrolled at Unguwar Borno Primary School Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria.
These girls Fatima 13years, Rukayya 15years, Aisha 12years and Ummi 4years are orphans who are having this opportunity to be in school for the first time in their lives at ages 13 and 14.
Meeting with the girls, they shared a bit of their unpleasant experiences of not being able to attend school until now and thanked GEM for coming in to support their education.
After assuring them of GEM support to ensure they complete their education, the girls shared their career ambition as follows Fatima(Doctor) , Rukayya (Lawyer), Aisha (Doctor), Ummi (Teacher).
The Executive Director of Girls Education Mission International told them that GEM with walk with them on a journey to becoming what they desire to be.
The school fees of the girls has sence being paid for this term and the girls have commence studies.
This is all possible because you have made a decision to make donations in support of our work with girls.
Thank you for making our mission possible.
