Getting 100 homeless off the streets through jobs

In the first week of 2023, we want to thank you for all your support in the past year!

Fundación Multipolar is a family that expands and works so that every day more people have greater opportunities to overcome situations of social vulnerability.

In the past year, we were able to develop our center in Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, and start in Buenos Aires sewing, blacksmithing, caring for the elderly, and digital literacy courses.

2023 here we come! With the greatest hope, commitment and love!

En la primer semana de 2023 queremos agradecer por todo su apoyo en el año que pasó!

Fundación Multipolar es una familia que se expande y trabaja para que cada día más personas cuenten con mayores opotunidades para vencer las situaciones de vulnerabilidad social.

En el año que pasó pudimos desarrollar nuestro centro en Gualeguaychú, Entre Rios e iniciar en Buenos Aires cursos de costura, herreria, cuidaod de adultos mayores y alfabetización digital.

2023 allá vamos! Con la mayor esperanza, compromiso y amor!

Hoping this report finds you well and healthy, we want to tell you that thanks to your donations and the support of different public and private institutions, so far this semester, more than 300 people have gone through some of the stages of our process, seeking to change your daily reality

Of these people, many are still in the process today and are beginning in a few weeks the phase of Crafts Workshops, to strengthen skills and gain tools so that the process of getting out of their situation of extreme social vulnerability continues to take shape.

Some of them, also, are already in the Labor Intermediation instance, working with our team of Human Resources Volunteers, in order to find employment opportunities that fit their interests and profile.

Hopefully you can join us on this path, since donors are a fundamental part of the team that keeps the Employment Training Center running in Fundación Multipolar. We are still far from our donation's goal, but we are getting there!

We send you a warm hug, and thank you for always being there!

Esperando que este reporte te encuentre bien y saludable, queremos contarte que gracias a tus donaciones y al apoyo de distintas instituciones públicas y privadas, en lo que va del semestre, más de 300 personas transitaron por alguna de las etapas de nuestro proceso, buscando cambiar su realidad diaria

De esas personas, muchas continúan aún hoy en el proceso y están empezando dentro de unas semanas la fase de los Talleres de Oficios, para fortalecer las habilidades y ganar herramientas para que el proceso de salir de su situación de extrema vulnerabilidad social siga tomando forma.

Algunas otras de ellas, ya están en la instancia de Intermediación Laboral, trabajando con nuestro equipo de Voluntarias/os de Recursos Humanos, para poder encontrar oportunidades de empleo que se ajusten a sus intereses y su perfil.

Ojalá puedas acompañarnos en este camino, ya que los/as donantes son una parte fundamental del engranaje de articulaciones que mantiene el Centro de Formación para el Empleo andando en Fundación Multipolar. Aun estamos lejos de nuestra meta de donaciones, pero estamos encaminadas/os!!!

Uno de nuestros principales objetivos este año es tener un espacio nuevo y más grande, para que nuestras actividades sucedan allí.

Estamos casi listos para alquilar un local en San Cristóbal, un barrio de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde contaremos con diferentes espacios como aulas, salas de conferencias, oficinas de reuniones y lugares de trabajo especiales para desarrollar capacitaciones específicas en oficios.

Este año es clave porque también ampliaremos nuestras fronteras y abriremos un nuevo Centro de Formación para el Empleo en la ciudad de Gualeguaychú, en la provincia de Entre Ríos, a tres horas de Buenos Aires.

Para que todo eso suceda, vamos a necesitar todo el apoyo que podamos obtener. Las cosas están empezando a andar, pero estamos con el tiempo contado para conseguir recursos, y compartir nuestro trabajo, seguirnos en las redes sociales y compartir, y donar cualquier cantidad que puedas, nos ayudará a estar preparados cuando llegue el momento.

Por último, en esta ocasión queremos compartir con vos algunas fotos de nuestro Taller de Costura para Mujeres Vulnerables, que forma parte de nuestro programa de Emprendimientos Productivos Escuela, donde producimos barbijos para un proyecto financiado por la Unión Europea en el que Multipolar es un aliado muy importante.

One of our main goal this year is to have a new, bigger space for our activities to happen.

We are almost ready to rent a place in San Cristobal, a neighborhood in Buenos Aires city, where we will have different spaces such as classrooms, conference rooms, meeting offices and special work-places to develop specific craft training.

This year is key because we will also expand our frontiers and open a new Employment Training Centre in the city of Gualeguaychú, in Entre Rios Province, three hours away from Buenos Aires.

For all that to happen, we are going to need all the support we can get. Things are starting to run, but we are on a shcedule and sharing our work, following us in social media and sharing, and donating any amount you can, will help us to be prepare when the moment arrives.

Finally, this time we want to share with you some pictures of our Sewing Workshop for Vulnerable Women, that is part of our Social Productive Entrepreneuership program, where we produced face masks for a project funded by the European Union in which Multipolar is a very importan partner.

This project is our main pillar, it's been running since we started our missions and it's still our main priority.

2021 has been a year of exceptional growth for Multipolar, new members have joined the team, new volunteers are participating and because of that, we are reaching much more people.

We had 5 different Employment Training Centers in different parts of the city and even in some towns of Buenos Aires province. 

Providing tools to create better opportunities for those who can't access a decent job so easily was and will be our main goal for this new year-.

Este proyecto es nuestra columna vertebral, fue creado desde el inicio de la Fundación y sigue siendo nuestra prioridad.

2021 fue un año de crecimiento exceptional para Multipolar, nuevos miembros see sumaron al equipo y nuevos voluntarios estan participando de nuestros proyectos, y por ello podemos llegar a muchas mas personas.

Pudimos llevar a cabo 5 Centros de Formacion para el Empleo en diferentes partes de la Ciudad y tambien en localidades de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.

Brindar herramientas para igualar las oportunidades en la gente que desea accder a un trabajo decente fue y seguira siendo nuestro objetivo principal para este nuevo año.

The Employment Training Center is back and upgraded!

COVID hit us hard but, as they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. We have been unable to begin new in-person procesess due to the sanitary restrictions...until now.

Over the last months, new volunteers from different backgrounds have been joining our Involvement Program. From mental healt professionals to HR and English teachers, both carrying out activities for our beneficiaries and our staff.

Our professional team has also been growing, in part so that we can give support and leadership to the work of the new volunteers, and improve our Employment Training Center and its process. This will result in more activities, more workshops and more mental health care, more work skills building and rebuilding, and more job opportunities generated by our beneficiaries.  

Our production programs have been innovating in out Product & Services catalog, in order to keep it update for the companies and individuals that support us through our web store.

We have also engaged in a Program that ensures COVID-19 vaccines for the homeless in Buenos Aires City and develops different workshops for them as well. 

Multipolar knows that if we don't join forces with many actors of society, our goal won't be achievable.
