Our 2024

By Gonzalo | M&E coordinator

(English version below)

Agradecimiento especial a nuestros donantes

  • Incorporar nuevos talleres y capacitaciones.

Juntos, podemos seguir construyendo oportunidades.

Thanks to your continued support, in 2024 the Work Training Center (WTC) strengthened its impact, accompanying individuals experiencing homelessness to acquire key skills and move toward greater autonomy. We are pleased to share this year’s achievements with you, along with the profile of those who have been part of this transformation.

Our Purpose

The general goal of the WTC is to offer a personalized support process that combines job training with workshops aimed at strengthening autonomy. Through these initiatives, we break down the barriers faced by people in situations of (or at risk of) social vulnerability, particularly in terms of accessing employment.

Cohorts and Locations

This year, we conducted 5 cohorts at our headquarters in Buenos Aires City and 1 cohort at our San Martín branch, allowing us to expand our reach and adapt to the needs of participants in both locations.

Networking with Organizations

We worked alongside various institutions to refer individuals to the training program:

  • 65% of participants came from shelters.
  • 35% came from substance abuse treatment communities.

Participants Profile

Among the individuals who took part in the program, we found:

  • 85% identify as male.
  • 34% are between 30 and 39 years old.
  • 64% have been or are currently experiencing homelessness.
  • 43% have not completed secondary education.

Addressed Health Issues

Our comprehensive approach allowed us to support individuals facing diverse health challenges:

  • 42% reported physical health conditions.
  • 37% faced mental health challenges.
  • 51% struggled with substance-related issues.

Impact and Transformation

Throughout the year, the WTC established itself as a space for growth, learning, and hope. Thanks to our workshops and personalized support, participants achieved:

  • Practical skills for the labor market.
  • Rebuilding more stable and autonomous life projects.
  • Creating support networks that enhance their overall well-being.

A Special Thanks to Our Donors

None of this would be possible without your commitment and trust in our work. Your contributions enable us to continue providing essential tools to those who need them most, changing lives and strengthening communities.

Our Challenge for the Future

In 2025, we aim to:

  • Expand our cohorts at both locations.
  • Introduce new workshops and training programs.
  • Deepen collaboration with organizations to reach more people.

Together, we can continue building opportunities.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Your support transforms lives and fills us with hope for the future.

With gratitude,

The Multipolar Foundation Team
