Fundación Multipolar was called to action within pandemic context, to provide assistance to city government on its homeless shelters. At these spaces they will find access to a place to sleep, four meals a day, and have a nice bath.
Argentina's been quarantined since mid-march, and although some are taking this as a kind of time-out, it's actually an opportunity for us to train and generate tools for those in need. Our main job in the shelters is to provide assistance, workshops, advice and coaching. Putting all our efforts to work on personal development: Strengthening social skills, communication and self-esteem, so that when opportunities arise, they have the confidence to go for them.
We are aware of the challenges we may come across to fulfill our initial goal in such an adverse scenario: the impossible only takes a little longer.
We are assisting 3077 people and approximately 40% of them are actively participating in the training provided. These are not easy times, but giving up is not an option.
