Dear Friends,

Marius food arrived for the month of February. Thanks to our supporters, we currently have enough funding for his 200+ animals until May.
The cost per month is $1000. Romania Animal Rescue  has worked with hundreds of people in Romania, and Marius is one of the most determined, kind, and compassionate. RAR also spays and neuters his animals, provides vaccines, and treats them for injuries and disease via our Homeless Animals Hospital project. Your donations are appreciated to help this good man help the animals. Our friends from Holland have helped to adopt animals from the shelter into great homes in the Netherlands. We hope to be able to keep this project going with help from our fabulous donors!  Please help us to continue this project for these sweet animals.
We are pleased to let you know that we have a new documentary!
Our documentary shows the task at hand in Romania, and some of the ways RAR addresses helping the animals.
Thank you for your support!

Dear Friends of the Romanian Animals,
Your support for Food helps the animals we care for year round.  While we still provide food monthly for the 200 animals at Marius shelter, we also need to provide nutritious food for recovering dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from our Homeless Animals Hospital program. Often, these animals are brought to us in terrible condition, suffering from diseases rarely seen in Western societies.
One of our recent patients is Fibel.  She was brought to our spayathon in Focsani, suffering from starvation and a horrible Sticker Tumor (a sexually transmitted disease that is preventable with spay/neuter).  The owner simply abandoned her.
Fibel was welcome into our program and brought to the Center of Hope hospital near Bucharest.  Here she underwent chemotherapy to treat the Sticker Tumor and has received nourishing food so she can become strong and healthy.
She is making strides very quickly, and.....has found a home in the UK to travel to once she has gained some more weight!
This happy ending story is thanks to YOU.  Your support helps us to provide food for the animals in our short term and long term care, as well as the monthly food for Marius shelter.
We at Romania Animal Rescue Thank You for allowing our work to continue.
We wish you a lovely Thanksgiving and Holiday Season!

Hello Dear Sponsors,

Marius has been receiving food monthly from Romania Animal Rescue since April of 2019.  The cost is 1000 Euro per month for his 200 dogs and this is not easy for us to meet.  We are reaching out to you, our kindest donors, to help us commit to providing food for his animals for 3 more months.....and onward.

Marius' animals are frequent recipients of all our programs.  He is an exceptionally kind man with a huge heart and we have taken him "under our wing" so to speak.  Meeting good caring people is so rewarding.

Marius shelter is located in Urziceni, Romania, in Ilfov County.

Attached please see photos of some of the recent rescues Marius has taken in from harsh conditions where they were not safe.

The little girl with the damaged eye was found in a park.  The puppies were found in Piteasca Village a few miles from the Center of Hope.

The 2 photos of food delivery are from July and August shipments thanks to support from our donors.

You have made such a difference to the well being of so many animals, and I hope you will continue to do so.

Thank you, on behalf of the animals, Marius, and myself.

Hello Friends,

Since opening the Center of Hope, we have met some amazing people who work extremely hard for the animals. One of these people is named Marius.  He contacted Nancy from RAR  asking if we could help with spays and neuters for his shelter.  You see Marius works at a factory where there were a couple hundred dogs and pups, and has built a shelter to house them.  He had heard about our work and was hoping beyond hope that a miracle would allow these dogs to be spayed and neutered to stop the endless puppies.

We agreed to help him and dogs at the shelter he has created for them at the factory.  RAR has spayed and neutered all his dogs, vaccinated them all, treated the dogs for broken limbs and for skin diseases, and overseen adoption of some to the UK.

Marius is a very kind man and deserves all the help we could offer, and thanks to our supporters, we have been able to do this.

Dr. Aurelian informed RAR 2 months ago that Marius needed help providing food for his animals.  Thanks to some donations we had received we were able to send $2000 worth of food to him, ordered by RAR and delivered to his shelter.  He is so very grateful!  Attached is a photo of one of the deliveries.

Marius  is a responsible rescuer, knows how to take good care of these animals, and just needs a helping hand.   Can you help us to continue to provide food for his dogs please?  Any donation of any amount really adds up.

Thank you to everyone who supports our work for these animals in Romania.  We are set to make a huge difference in this country and simply cannot do it without our donors.  Thank you very much for your kindness

Dear Friends,

With your support, our charity is addressing so many root causes to stop suffering of abandoned and stray animals. It is not right for dogs and cats to live and starve in the streets, forests, in cemeteries, in filthy shelters or yards.  This is why we work so hard to spay and neuter and run the Homeless Animals Hospital program.  All these animals need food.  To recover, to gain much-needed nutrients, and to thrive so that they can live decent lives.

Boris is an example of what we do.  We learned of him via a Facebook post.  He had been suffering with a shattered leg on the side of the road for 2 days until our friend Doina reached out to him and brought him to the Center of Hope for treatment.  Boris had to have his leg amputated.  He was full of parasites.  Our program treated him and gave him nourishing food to make him strong.  He also was vaccinated, and now will be adopted to the UK the end of March.

Your help supports our outreach to communities, villages and the local rescuer.  To provide the most basic need, food, to a dog, cat, puppy or kitten who has been treated for worms and other parasites so that nutrients can finally be absorbed, treat them for disease or injury, spay them so that no more offspring are born is the cycle for our work.  Our friends rely on our help and we rely on yours to continue.

Thank you dear friends.
