Happy Holidays from ABCS and RICE!

New playground equipment

We would like to send a big hello to our generous donors.   We really appreciate your help!

We are happy to report that our new playground is complete.  We are especially proud of our bus-shaped swing that is wheelchair accessible.  Our donors and friend Matt from Australia helped us accomplish this.   Our students have such fun playing here with their friends.

In October a long time American sponsor, Vanessa, led the Soul Flow Journeys and Heart Revival to our village in Siem Riep.  They held workshops fpr our students in sports, art, health and more.  They also provided financial support for our playground and classroom sponsorships as well.

Tammy, our founding director, went home to Canada this fall.  She met with several Rotary Clubs and classrooms to describe our work at ABCS and RICE.  We are looking forward to working with the Rotarians in the future.  In addition, our new Canadian board, led by our returning president, Lindsey, hosted a wine and cheese silent auction night, as well as a music bingo night fundraiser in Tammy’s hometown.

In November the Cambodian Rice Run from Australia visited our school.  They took some of our senior students out to an aquarium as well as a restaurant.  This was a night to remember for these students, some of whom have never experienced either activity before.

Thanks to generous donors like you, we are happy to report the ongoing success of our ABCS And Rice students.  Thanks to you our children are surviving and thriving and learning!  We really appreciate your generosity.

Happy Holidays!
