In the heart of Northern Uganda, through your support our transformative agro program is reshaping the agricultural landscape and uplifting the lives of women farmers. With micro-loans and expert agricultural advice, 234 women have embarked on a journey toward economic empowerment and sustainable farming practices.

Among them is Mary, a dedicated farmer and mother of 3. Before joining the program, Mary faced numerous challenges limited access to capital, outdated farming techniques, and fluctuating market prices that hindered her ability to thrive. However, with a micro-loan, she was able to purchase high-quality seeds and invest in modern farming equipment. Additionally, the expert agricultural advice she received helped her adopt innovative practices, significantly increasing her crop yields.

With her newfound resources and knowledge, Mary expanded her production and started cultivating a variety of crops, including maize, beans, and vegetables. As she began supplying her produce to local markets in Northern Uganda and South Sudan, Mary witnessed a remarkable boost in her income. Not only did she manage to support her family better, but she also contributed to her community's food security.

Mary's success story is just one of many. The collective impact of this initiative has empowered women to enhance the value of their agricultural products, fostering a sustainable future for themselves and their communities. By supplying nutritious food to markets, these women are not only improving their livelihoods but also creating a ripple effect that benefits their entire community.

As they continue to grow, the women farmers are building a legacy of resilience and empowerment.
