FIGHT OMICRON - FREE HYGIENIC FOOD FOR VILLAGERS

We are delighted to report about successful Food Relief Programs to provide Free Hygienic Food to villagers conducted by ISKCON Varanasi. In this time of global crisis, the people in slums and nearby villages where the source of income is daily wage were badly affected. Last quarter the Pandemic had taken a dangerous form and was engulfing more and more people into its jaws. With your supports, we were extended our hands to support our friends in this fight.

We are very delighted to report about the successful Food Relief Program during this Corona Pandemic by ISKCON Prayagraj.

Although Lockdown was removed to a certain degree still the life has not come to track. People still needed your generous support. Under our initiative, we were going to a nearby village where many of our poor friends needed our help and support in this difficult time when lockdown and Corona have almost stopped the lives of people throughout the world.

We fed about 450 villagers affected by the Corona pandemic got during this initiative.

Our dear friend Shivam was leading the distribution team of 6 people going to the forefront and meet with people. Shivam shares his experiences "It was a very heart touching experience for me to meet needy people and know their life and problems, in this time of need. Our team was very happy & enthusiastic to help the needy ".

We also organized an awareness session to make people understand the need for safety and ways they can remain safe in these difficult times.

 We thank all of our generous donors, GlobalGiving team, and volunteers for making this a success.

Since the second wave of Pandemic is spreading so rapidly and engulfing a lot of populace in its jaws creating a fearful atmosphere, our team has also decided to increase our service of helping our poor friends with a lot more vigor and enthusiasm.
