Free meal to a poor child in village

We are delighted to report about successful Food Relief Programs to provide Free Hygienic Food to villagers conducted by ISKCON Varanasi. In this time of global crisis, the people in slums and nearby villages where the source of income is daily wage were badly affected. Last quarter the Pandemic had taken a dangerous form and was engulfing more and more people into its jaws. With your supports, we were extended our hands to support our friends in this fight.

ISKCON Varanasi has been continuing its food distribution program to different areas and nearby villages, since last year from the beginning of the Corona pandemic. We provided free daily meals, whole grains, and sanitizing materials to underprivileged brothers and sisters.

During the last quarter, we were distributed around 5000+ plates of free meals to nearby villages and slums. We were going out there daily and helping the villagers with food, awareness, and sanitation kits.

We also distributed 3000+ Sanitizing kits.

We distributed 2000 Kg of Grains to the villagers.

We are very thankful to all our generous donors and brave volunteers and local administration for their valuable support in this time of dire need.
