The headlines in all parts of the world have been Covid - 19! This pandemic attracted people's attention and covered all the other happenings. Apart from Covid – 19 many people were affected by heavy rains, some lost their houses and had to flee to other places. It was hard for these people because of the Covid restrictions.
During our food distribution in the villages, we came across a widow and her three children who lived in a one-roomed hut, with a grass thatched roof. When we entered this house we could see the sky from inside. We are glad that this family has a new two-bedroomed iron sheet roofed house beds and mattresses. This is because of YOU, we are grateful to those who gave wholeheartedly to save this family.
This project has enabled us to reach out to so many families in the villages. It has been good to support an individual child but it has been fulfilling to provide food and strengthen their families. We are preparing to reach out to these families with Christmas Hampers before 25th December 2020.
